Paul and Lee Ann Rubsam live in Appleton, Wisconsin. We have two daughters, one still at home with us, and one who is grown and married. Our older daughter and her husband pastor in Pennsylvania, and have two children.
We have been home schooling since 1986, and are still home schooling today. Neither of our children have ever been schooled outside the home. We've loved every minute of having our girls with us. They've been a joy at every age level, and we are so happy that they both love Jesus passionately.
Full Gospel Family Publications has been in existence since 1995. Character Building for Families, Volumes 1 and 2 were our first two books, and we have added to them as the Lord has given us new things to say.
Paul recently retired from his job as a letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service. He has always enjoyed his work and his contact with his customers. However, retirement opens an exciting new chapter in his life. With Paul's time freed up, our desire is to be able to devote more time to Kingdom endeavors.
One of the deep loves of our life is our home church, The River Church. We are elders there, and have been so blessed by the ministry of our pastors. The mighty Presence of God is huge in our services. The River Church is a nondenominational apostolic revival center that operates in the gifts of the Spirit, and emphasizes living a prophetic lifestyle. We treasure God's supernatural, and move in signs and wonders, including the healing of the sick.
Yes, we are Trinitarian, Pentecostal/Charismatic in our beliefs -- and unashamedly so. You will find that Character Building for Families carries a charismatic flavor, although we are not overbearing about it. Our noncharismatic friends can rest assured that the focus of these books is always Jesus. We don't get into trying to teach any doctrine outside of the basic beliefs common to all Christians, and we don't get negative toward anyone. Our booklets on prayer DO emphasize the Baptism in the Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

In June of 2007, we stepped into some new territory with a missions trip to Peru. It was the first of many such adventures, for God is calling us to some international ministry. How often we'll go, and for how long at a time, is unknown to us right now, but we know God is saying that we will be traveling the world in days and years to come.
