Paul and Lee Ann Rubsam live in Appleton, Wisconsin. We have two daughters, one still at home with us, and one who is grown and married. Our older daughter and her husband pastor in Kentucky, and have two children.
We home schooled from 1986 through 2011, until our younger daughter graduated from high school. Neither of our children have ever been schooled outside the home. We've loved every minute of having our girls with us. They've been a joy at every age level, and we are so happy that they both love Jesus passionately.
Full Gospel Family Publications has been in existence since 1995. Character Building for Families, Volumes 1 and 2 were our first two books, and we have added to them as the Lord has given us new things to say.
Paul is a retired letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service. He always enjoyed his time with the Postal Service, and still keeps in touch with many of his former patrons. He keeps quite busy with Kingdom endeavors of various sorts. Paul is a graduate of SALT International School of Ministry.
One of the deep loves of our life is our home church, The River Church. We have been so blessed by the move of God going on among us and the training we receive from our pastors. The River is a nondenominational apostolic regional center. We emphasize living an apostolic/prophetic lifestyle, including the gifts of the Spirit and supernatural signs, wonders, and healing.
Yes, we are Trinitarian, Pentecostal/Charismatic in our beliefs -- and unashamedly so. You will find that Character Building for Families carries a charismatic flavor, although we are not overbearing about it. Our noncharismatic friends can rest assured that the focus of these books is always Jesus. We don't get into trying to teach any doctrine outside of the basic beliefs common to all Christians, and we don't get negative toward anyone. Our booklets on prayer DO emphasize the Baptism in the Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.
